Project Features
During 2015-2016 Dandong was developing BRT planning after a visit by city leaders to see the Guangzhou BRT. The 25.2km BRT corridor identified and clarified during the project runs through the city centre, and applying a 'direct service' operational mode (in which BRT buses operate both inside and outside the BRT corridor) would cover 114km of roads in the city. |
Far East Mobility Role
Far East Mobility was subcontracted by an engineering design institute to work on aspects of the Dandong BRT plans, primarily relating to the demand analysis and operational configuration but also including input to corridor and station recommendations taking into account existing transit demand patterns. |
